UPS Self Test | A UPS self test checks the condition of your device’s battery and the internal components used to operate the device in battery mode. The page displays the result and timestamp of the most recently completed UPS self test.Click Run New Test to initiate a self test diagnostic. The page displays the progress of the self test diagnostic – , , and . When complete, the NOTE: It may take up to 4 minutes for the result to display in the web portal. page displays the result of the self test. If the self test could not be initiated via the web portal, an error message is displayed. Self Test Results: • Aborted: The self test ended prematurely. For example, the UPS device was manually powered off during the self test. • Failed: There is an issue with your UPS device. The Replace Battery and/or UPS Fault (Error Code) active events may be triggered. • Passed: No issues were found with the UPS device’s battery or internal components used to operate the device in battery mode. • The self test could not be completed as the UPS did not meet the running conditions. Ensure that: – the UPS device is powered on, i.e. the UPS Output Power Turned Off active event is not displayed in the web portal – the UPS battery is connected, i.e the Battery Disconnected active event is not displayed in the web portal – the UPS device’s switched outlet group(s) is (are) powered on, if applicable – the UPS device’s battery is sufficiently charged – active events related to a self test result (Replace Battery or UPS Fault (Error Code)) are resolved – the UPS battery is not overheating, i.e the Battery: High Temperature or Battery: Temperature Threshold Exceeded active events are not displayed in the web portal – the UPS is not overloaded, i.e the UPS Overload active event is not displayed in the web portal |
